Intensive course structure and costs
Daily schedule
Classes take place in a modern classroom either during the morning (10am to 2pm) or in the afternoon/evening (3pm to 7pm) Every 2 hours there is a short break of 15mins.
Teaching style
Classes are given by a Spanish native but help will be given to explain topics in English using set materials. Students will be encouraged to participate and classes will be heavily focussed on speaking to give students a confidence boost from day 1.
Materials and methodology
We use a mix of bilingual (English/Spanish) materials which are already published or of our own making. Every care is taken to tailor the modules, level and type of materials for each individual class.
Topics covered
We think that every language course needs a little bit of grammar in it to make it useful. Mastering some basic grammar points will make your Spanish much more accurate and easier to understand. However in this intensive course emphasis will be placed on preparing you for those everyday situations such as being in bars and restaurants, organising a trip, talking to your neighbours or visiting the doctor,
Course levels
We offer two main courses. A course for beginners (including COMPLETE novices) and a second course for those with a pre-intermediate or intermediate level. Please ask us for more information about these levels and which would suit you.
Course costs
The 5 day, 20 hour course comes with all the materials you need to succeed. Class size does not exceed 8 people (Minimum 2 people per course). The cost is 375 Euro per person. (VAT included)
Our People and Methodology
Frank Lane
Born in London, Frank has lived for over 20 years in Spain. Having a background from the UK in sales and marketing, Frank then chose to fully train as a language teacher and started his educational career 11 years ago in Barcelona. He then moved back to his childhood holiday town of Oliva and for the last 4 years has run the language academies Intellectus Academies and Prendoco.
Pilar Fernandez
Pilar is a qualified psychologist and Spanish teacher. She specialises in work performance and education, and brings all these tools together to produce and deliver first class courses. Pilar also runs her own psychological services company, Ágora Psicología.
